Loved this! Talking of blood libels...Arm Iran With Nukes was hot with slander. He linked it to the Brit Milah and mutilating babies. Some seriously deluded and angry antisemites out there.

When we tear away the slogans and posters, the politics and policies, the narratives of oppression and the songs of genocide…when we strip it all away it’s actually incredibly unoriginal Jew hatred. Let’s drink to that. I’ve got a little red vial here somewhere….

Thank you for showing beautifully the power of words, both for lies and for truth. That's the two-edged sword that man was give with speech: we can express our internal thoughts in the material world, but only with many different sounds strung together into words and sentences. Good and evil revolve on how we organize our sounds - will be express our true selves, or suffice with a distorted or partial narrative?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response and for restacking! (Is that the right wording?) Since October 7 I have struggled to find my new voice in a world that seemed radically changed. My question to myself always is

« What does the world need most from me at this moment ? » How can I be helpful??

I’m see and hear the anguish and pain of so many Jews and supporters. I wrote early on about the feelings of betrayal many of us who supported so many causes over our lifetimes have felt.

I know that my writing is long. But there are so many different pathways to how we each hear what we need and connect in our way. I hope I can find my way of using words that touches those who need it. Ryan for your support. Here we go!

Yes, you got it - "restack" means to share it on Substack's internal social network, Notes.

All the best on your new venture, and, as I PM'd you now, let me know if there's anything I can do to help!

I recently discovered your captivating writings. They are truly thought-provoking and should be considered essential reading for those who are easily swayed by misinformation.

After graduating from high school, a close friend confided in me that he was Jewish. My initial reaction was one of surprise, but I quickly composed myself and responded, "So what?" We continued our golf game without further ado. He then explained that he had to keep his religious identity a secret to protect his family. This revelation was completely unexpected to me. My father had served in Germany during World War II, and I had always believed that America was a nation where everyone enjoyed freedom and equality.

I had the opportunity to meet his father, and in retrospect, it is possible that he was a Holocaust survivor. If so, it would make sense that he would advise his son to maintain a low profile during his upbringing in the 1950s and 1960s.

Although I was initially naive, I have since educated myself on these matters. I am fortunate to have many Jewish and Christian friends, although I must admit that I do not have as many Muslim friends.

In light of current global events, my wife and I offer our prayers for the continued survival of Israel and wholeheartedly support the sentiment of "Never again!"

Thank you so much for becoming an engaged reader in my work!!! Your thoughtful response really helps strengthen me to keep at it. Please feel free to share with anyone my words may help.

Thank you for your service! It matters. We notice and are grateful.

And thank you and your wife especially for your prayers and friendship!! As you know, Christianity was born from Judaism and thus we are an extended family. We all need as much love and support for humanity as we can gather together while we again fight the darkness that still exists in this world. We are bound now in faith and friendship. 💙💙💙 Am Yisrael Chai

Somehow there is something not quite kosher about this whole idea. But, heck, why refuse a winning strategy.

Great advice … to the love lorn, or whatever. This sounds even better than donations to Ukraine kicked back to the loot jar. I always wanted that get rich quick scheme.

Now all I need do is write about how much my dog meant to me when I was young and how he saved me from blood thirsty Jews.

I can see the money, and book royalties, loading up the concrete bunker I will need for all that bounty.

Never miss a golden opportunity, I say.

When I’m doubt, blame the Jews. It’s a time tested strategy!

The three little dots give the fuller pull down menu. It should include edit. Well , I guess I am wrong. Copy delete and edit a new reply seems to be the only way to edit after a top level post. That is, in comments. Never noticed until you asked.
